ITINERARY
LIMA / CUSCO / LIMADay 1 .../ LimaReception and transfer from the airport to your hotel.
Day 2: Lima / CuscoEarly transfer to the Jorge Chávez airport to take your flight from Lima to Cusco. Upon arrival reception and transfer to your hotel. By the afternoon a 3 hours escorted city tour of Cusco and surrounding ruins: KENKO, PUCA-PUCARA and TAMBOMACHAY continuing to the fortress of SACSAYHUAMAN and the CATHEDRAL CHURDH and the COMPAÑIA CHURCH . Return to the hotel.
Day 3 :Cusco / Sacred Valley / CuscoFull day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the colorful INDIAN MARKET in PISAC to see a blend of color, tradition and people. At a distance of 30 km. (19 miles) from Cusco, and an altitude of 2,970 meters (9,700 ft.), PISAC is located right at the entrance to the SACRED VALLEY. Lunch included in URUBAMBA. By the afternoon visit the Fortress of OLLANTAYTAMBO giant religious, military, social, administrative and agricultural complex from the TAHUANTINSUYO times. OLLANTAYTAMBO whit its narrow streets, complemented with canals unchanged since Inca times, recall its ancient heritage. Return to Cusco.
Day 4 :Cusco / MachuPicchu / CuscoEarly departure from your hotel to the train station for a full day tour of MACHUPICCHU, the "Lost City of the Incas" one of the most renowned examples of Inca architecture, due to their constructions entirely of stone, bearing in mind that modern mechanical devices were unknown in the era in which this monumental work was executed. Surrounded by lush cloud forest, the citadel is located in a mist-shrouded mountaintop. Lunch included in AGUAS CALIENTES. By the afternoon train back to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 5 :Lima /… Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Lima.
