Ancient Town of Huchuy Qosqo (2 days - 1 nights)

This is a fascinating long walk where the tourist will be able to see different types of landscapes. During the trip you can appreciate cultural and historic attractive heritage like the Inca’s bridge that conduce to the archaeological site. The altitudes in this route are between 3000 and 4000 meters above sea level

ITINERARY:

Cuzco - Tambo Machay - Huchuy Qosqo - Sacred Valley of Incas

DAY 1: CUZCO -TAMBO MACHAY -HUCHUY QOSQO

Pick up from airport or from your hotel, to Tambomachay, where the excursion begins.

This day we will walk at 3000 and 4000 meters above sea level, altitude which allows us to enjoy beautiful landscapes and mountains like Ausangate and some lakes. After this we will cross by an Inca bridge, which is the road to get in the archaeological site of H´uchuy Qosqo where you can see all the restored buildings and terraces.

The walk takes about 6 hours. The program includes lunch dinner and camping. Camp near the ruins.

Day 2: HUCHUY QOSQO - SACRED VALLEY OF INCAS - CUZCO

After the Breakfast we will have time to explore the ruins in a guided tour, from here you will have a panoramic view to the mountains of the Sacred valley and afterwards we will walk down to the village of Lamay. Return to Cusco.
