Imperial Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (2 days - 1 nights)

This is a tour for people who have not much time and want to see some interesting Inca ruins. Near the entrance of the trail you will visit the archaeological site of Chachabamba at about 2000 meters above sea level. Then you continue climbing to Wiñaywayna ruins, discovered by the Peruvian archaeologist Julio C.Tello, Being an impressive site, with baths and storehouses.

ITINERARY:

Cuzco - Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu

DAY 1: CUZCO - KM-104 - AGUAS CALIENTES  

Pick up from airport or your hotel in special buses, transport by train to KM 104, where the trail begins. During the train ride you will pass for some nice towns and enter to the Sacred Valley to have nice views at some snow mountains as well.

Near to the entrance you have a guided visit to the archeological place of Chachabamba and after 3 hours of walk visit also the Wiñaywayna ruins. Continuous the trip to Aguas Calientes town with lunch, dinner and lodging in a hostel in Aguas Calientes

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU

After an early breakfast we translate to MachuPicchu to visit the most important places of the archaeological site, like the temples; you will have a guide tour in this amazing place.

Then we will return to Cusco in backpacker train.
